Kalpasan Naunday a Tawen

Aglumoten ti singgalot
Nangbegkes ayan-ayat
Nga uray kasano kapigsat' apres
Ti ayus ti karayan ti biag
Ket saanyo intulok a mapugsat,
ketdi lallalo pay a pinakidser nepnep ti lua
Ken pudot iti kalgaw ti rigat
Nga inkayo nagbuligan.
Awan sardayna a pannaripato
Ti inpaayyo iti belo a nangbalkot
Pinagmaymaysa puso ken riknayo
Ta uray no dadduma adda man umapay
A sagursor wenno puris a mangdadael
Simbeng ken linay ti panagdennayo
Ngem diyo intulok a marakrak -
Mapisang iti uray kasano kadawel
Nga aplaw ti kapigsaan a bagyo.
Wen, main-inuten nga agregregreg
Dagiti masagsaginnit nga aggango

Ti sarantat’ kaungganyo a mangbuybuya
Kadagiti nalalangto ken lumanglangto pay

Angaw kadi pay aya ti nagdaliasatan
Ti kagudua dekada a panagdennayo?
Marukod kad’ pay dagiti lingling-et ken lulua
Rimsua panangtagibenyo ti karin-kari
Inmaldityo iti maysa ken maysa
A taripatuenyo ti maysa ken maysa
Iti rigat ken nam-ay
Sanguanan ti altar ti Apo a Namarsua
Singkuenta a tawenen ti napalabas?
Dawatmi lang a saringityo
At-atiddog pay a biag, kired ken salun-at
Tapno dakami pay ti maatibayyo
Ken kadakayo maipaaymi met ti ayat-pannagibi
A sinagrapmi bayat panagubingmi
Nga inkayo kaniami panangmuli
Tapno madanunmi ti ita pagtaktakderanmi.
Adu a lua ti inkay inbubos
Tapno dakami ti mapadakkelyo
Ngem ala sapay ta naragsakkayon
A makakitkita nagbanbanaganmi nga annakyo
Agraman kaingungotmi ken appoko

Yester-ME

I always want to go back home

Home where I always long to be.

But I can’t take the usual me with me

For I am not anymore the man I used to be.

Yes, I miss the man I was that I used to be

But not the man I can’t be that they expect me to be.

I am not anymore the man who you wanted me to be

But I am now what time made me.

Please accept me for being me now

Because things weren’t like they were before anymore.

Just like today, it won’t anymore be today tomorrow

But it will be yesterday.

Tomorrow is another day but not the same as today.

Just like me, the usual me is not me anymore me – it’s yester-ME.

The truth is - I’m not anymore who you wanted me to be.

Can you still accept me for being me?

Back to School

After three long years that I was out of school doing stuff to continue surviving, I found myself dreaming again and looking back at my goals that I set aside eversince I failed my Bar Examination last September 2006.

'Sexsomnia' made in Canada'

I found a good article helpful for those people addicted with the pleasure of flesh. Take a look at this article I found:

'Sexsomnia' made in CanadaPosted Tue, Jul 07, 2009

This week, Jan Luedecke the Toronto landscaper who was acquitted in 2005 for sexually assaulting a woman because he was sound asleep at the time of the assault, was scheduled to appear before a panel to determine if he should have any long-term restrictions on his freedom. Instead the panel ordered Luedecke undergo a 'full and complete risk assessment' before making their decision.

'Sexsomnia,' like insulin, five-pin bowling and the term 'cougar,' is a Canadian discovery. I first heard about it at a sexuality conference in Guelph several years ago when Dr. Paul Fedoroff, a forensic psychiatrist in Ottawa presented research suggesting that stress, chronic sleeplessness, or alcohol or drug abuse may lead a person to engage in sexual behaviour while sound asleep.

The research, which Fedoroff completed with co-researchers Dr. Colin Shapiro and Dr. Nik Trajanovic of the University of Toronto first appeared in 1996 in a paper called 'Sexsomnia - A New Parasomnia?' that was published in the Canadian Journal of Psychiatry in June 2003.
It was good timing for Luedecke as it was the wee hours of house party in July 2003 when a woman woke up on the couch to find Luedecke having sex with her. He was found not criminally responsible for the assault because he was asleep at the time He testified that he had been overworked, overstressed, sleep-deprived, taken magic mushrooms and knocked back a whole bunch of booze, pretty much in line with Fedoroff et al's definition of 'sexsomnia.'
As bizarre as this all sounds, Luedecke's case is not the first.

In December of 2005, a British man was cleared of three counts of rape because he suffered 'sexsomnia' and wasn't conscious during the act. In August of 2007, a British mechanic was cleared of a rape charge after the jury found him not responsible for his actions when he had sex with a 15-year-old girl while asleep. And it's not just a guy thing. In 2004, an Australian woman was reportedly leaving her house at night and having sex with strangers while sleepwalking.
Any type of sleepwalking is rare, occurring in about 3% of children and young adolescents, and 0.5% of adults. According to research, 4% of adults who suffer from the condition carry out sexual behavior.

Luedecke's assessment, to be carried out at Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, will be completed by Aug. 28. Based on this, the panel can then decide whether or not he should be committed to hospital, or to place certain conditions on his release such as refraining from drug or alcohol use.

What do you think? Do you thing 'sexsomnia' is a legitimate defense against sexual assault?

Calgary Stampede 2009 Memories

T'was called the Lilydale's LUCKY 9

Several months ago, this group's friendship bond was so closed that we never thought that it will come to an end and nobody even foresee that this will happen but for a reason or another that I may personally know but not everybody in the group, others were not talking to each other anymore and that's the beginning of chaos or I call it "The Fall of Lucky 9".
It's the reality anyway. Nothing really stays compact as it is from the start, change will always come and that's maybe why they say that "the only constant thing in this world is change".
Reminiscing those moments when this group was still as close as they were, I can't stop myself but to sigh. How I wish I can bring back those good times back again.
And if ever I am the reason why we came to this situation for doing not a single a thing, I apologize for the entire group.

Lilydale's Lucky 9

The lucky 9's. From top to bottom: Sherwin, Marvelyn, Kuya Sam, Ate Gladys, Jojo, Baby Grace, Manang Daisy, Manong Romie and Manong Mar.

"From all walks of life we came together
Bound by the spirit of camaraderie
Tangled with the knot of friendship
Affirmed by the toss of wine and beer."
-ampitz
Not everyone has a good story to tell. A real good story. That's why I consider myself lucky because today I got a friendship story to tell. About a group of nine people, we call ourselves as LUCKY 9, and from our faces you could see the reason why we are bound together as BARKADA. We share the same smile...we share the same laugh, chuckle and giggle...and we share the same WINE and BEER.
A friendship that no one knows its boundary. Neither one of us knows when will it end. Maybe when there will be no more beer and whisky for sale in town. Let me clear some cloud in the air. We are not drunkard, we just enjoy the night being together with the presence and spirit of beer and wine.

Exhibit 1-A: Lucky 9's drinking Kokanee Beer, the smooth Canadian Blend Rocky Mountain Beer.

We sing...we dance...we laugh...we enjoy ourselves together until the night is over. When we're together we become careless...we fly...we don't care...we have no worries at all...we forget everything...we forget about work. And this is our own way of relaxing ourselves from the bondage of work's stress. This is our own unique way of escaping from the real world. And when we are TOGETHER...when we are in our own world...we find HOME...we become FAMILY.

Exhibit 1-B: Lucky 9's dancing time.
